      Indenture made March 16, 1793; Whereas Alexander Lovejoy died intestate and John Lovejoy, his brother became heir at law to part of his real estate and being willing and desirous that John Lovejoy s/o Alexander alias John Nevitt should be possessed of the land and for 5 shillings has assigned all his right and title to a tract called "Gantts Levels" containing 50 acres and now taken into "Gantts Enlargement Enlarged" deeded by Nicholas Davis unto Alexander Lovejoy. Signed John Lovejoy in the presence of and acknowledged before Fielder Bowie, Robert Bowie and at the same time Rebecca Lovejoy w/o John Lovejoy relinquished her right of dower
