      THIS INDENTURE made this 22d day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand 335 seven hundred and forty one Between GEORGE BRENT of STAFFORD COUNTY gent of one part and RICHARD WORSDALL of Prince William County Planter of other part Witnesseth that said GEORGE BRENT for the rents & duties herein after mentioned hath granted to farm Let one tract of land being in Prince William County containing two hundred acres bounded begining at PETER GLASCOCKs corner tree & runing NW to a white Oak thence SW to SLATY RUN then down the said Run to PETER GLASCOCKs line then along the said line to the first begining to him the said RICHARD WORSDALL for his natural life also during the natural life of MARY the now Wife of the said RICHARD and for and during the natural life of JOHN SIMPSON Son of the said MARY or the Survivor of them To Have and To Hold the said tract of land with all the Houses & appurtenances belonging to him the said RICHARD WORSDALL MARY his now Wife & JOHN SIMPSON Son of the said MARY for and during the natural life or life of the Surviver of them to commence from the day of the date of these presents and so to continue paying yearly unto the said GEORGE BRENT his heirs or assignes upon the Tenth day of November the Neat sum of five hundred and thirty pounds of good Legal & Merchantable tobacco with Cask to contain the same according to Law Provided Always that if the said Yearly Rent should be unpaid after the said Tenth day of November four Calender months that then it may be lawful for the said GEORGE BRENT his heirs or his Bayliff or Certain Attorney into the said Tenement to enter & the goods & chattels then & there found to take & bear away & it is further agreed upon that said RICHARD WORSDALL MARY his now Wife & JOHN SIMPSON Son of the said MARY shall not at any time make over the said Tract of land or any part to any person without the special consent obtained in writing from under the hand of the said GEORGE BRENT his heirs or assignes & that no Subtenant shall be permitted & it is further agreed that during the said term any manner of waste or damage upon the premises or upon the trees woods or under- woods except what necessary in the building fencing repairing improving the said Plantation & for necessary fire wood as also for Tobacco Cask & the clearing of ground to plant. In Witness whereof both parties have set their hands & Seals
