KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that we MARY TARPLEY, JOHN TARPLEY & CHARLES BARBER of County of Richmond are held and firmly bound unto the Worspll. her Majties. Justices for said County in the full and just summe of One hundred pounds current money of Virginia to the which payment well and truely to be made we bind our selves our heirs firmly by these presents; Sealed with our seals dated this second day of Septr. 1713
THE CONDITION of this obligation is such that if the above bound MARY TARPLEY, Admrx, of all the goods chauells and creditts of MARY PEACHEY deced., do make a true and perfect Inventory of all the goods chattells and creditts of the said deced., and the same so made do exhibit into the County Court of Richmond at such time as she shall be thereunto required by the said Court; and the same well and truely administer according to Law, and further do make a just and true account of her actings and doings therein when thereto required by the said Court; and also pay and deliver all the Legacies contained and specified in the said Testament as farr as ye goods chattells and creditts will thereunto extend according to the value thereof and the Law shall charge her, Then this obligation to be voyd and of none effect otherwise to remaine in full force & virtue

THIS INDENTURE made the fourth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred twenty and six, Between WILLIAM TARPLEY and MARY his Wife of County of Richmond and Parish of Northfarnham of one pantie and JOHN TARPLEY, Gent., of County and Parish aforesaid of other part; Witnesseth that WILLIAM TARPLEY and MARY TARPLEY his Wife in consideracon of the sum of Five shillings of lawful! money of England to them in hand paid by JOHN TARPLEY, the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge; have and by these presents do bargain and sell unto JOHN TARPLEY his heirs a parcell of land containing Two hundred and ten acres scituate in County abovesd. and bounded, Beginning at a corner red Oak of WILLIAM DYE and along a line of marked trees belonging to JOHN GIFFINGS and runintg N. 194 perches to a white Oak corner tree to the said land, thence running E. 178 perches to corner white Oak, thence rutting S: 192 perches to a marked red Oak by PHILLIP HARRIS's Old Field, thence rutting W' 178 per to the place where it first began; Together with all profits comodities and priviledges to the parcell of land belonging; To have and to hold the Two hundred and ten acres of land and premises with appurtenances unto JOHN TARPLEY his heirs during the term of one year paying therefore the rent of one Ear of Indian Corn on the Feast day of the Birth of our Lord God next ensuing if lawfully demanded, to the intent that by vertue of these presents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession, JOHN TARPLEY may be in the actual possession of the premises and thereby enabled to accept a grant of the inheritance thereof to him and his heirs; In Witness whereof the parties abovesaid to these presents interchangeably have set their hands and seals the day and year first above written

THIS INDENTURE made the fifth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred twenty and six Between WILLIAM TARPLEY and MARY his Wife of County of Richmond and Parish of Northfarnham of one partie and JOHN TARPLEY, Gent. of County and Parish aforesaid of other part: Witnesseth that WILLIAM TARPLEY and MARY TARPLEY his Wife in consideracon of the sum of 9242 oiybds if tobacco by them already received from JOHN TARPLEY, the receipt whereof they do acknowledge themselves to be fully satisfyed have and by these presents do bargain and sell unto JOHN TARPLEY being in the actual possession thereof by vertue of a Lease thereof to him made and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession, and to his heirs all that parcel! of Land containing Two hundred and Ten acres scituate in County and Parish afovesaid and bounded; Beginning (the bounds repeated as in the Lease); To have and to hold the Two hundred and Ten acres of land unto JOHN TARPLEY his heirs to be holden to the Chief Lord or Lords of the Fee or Fees of the premises by the rules and services for the same due and accustomed and WILLIAM TARPLEY and MARY TARPLEY his Wife for themselves their heirs the land and premises will warrant and for ever defend by these presents against any person; In Witness whereof the parties to these presents interchangeably have set their hands and seals the day and year first above written Signed Sealed and Delivered in the presents of
