In the name of God, Amen, I, James Townsin of Clarke County of Caintucky, being sick but in perfect mind and memory and calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it appointed for man once to die and after death to judgment, do make this my last will and testament in the manner and form following and first it is my desire that all my just debts be first paid and then it is my desire to give the rest of my estate to my beloved wife during her natural life and then to be left to my child Rhoda Townsin and her heirs forever.
I give to my son Garrett Townsin five hundred acres of land located on Orther in Matterson County to him and his heirs forever and I do appoint my beloved wife and Markham Ware my only and sole executors of this my last will and testament as witness my hand and leave this sixth day of December, One thousand Sevin Hundred Nineyfour.

WILL OF HENRY WARE
In the Name of God Amen. I Henry Ware of King George County being sick and weak of body but in perfect sence and memory and calling to mind the uncertanty of life have thought fit to make this my last Will and Testament in the manner following.
Imprimis: I recommend my soul to God that gave it trusting in my ever blessed Saviour to receive pardon and remission of my sins and my body I desired may be Inter'd on my Brother's Plantation where he now lives and as for what worldly estate it hath pleased God to bless me with, I give and bequeath in manner and from following.
Item: I will and bequeath to my son Markham all my lands lying in Goochland County to him and his heirs forever.
Item: I order that my land in Orange County be sold by my Executors hereafter mentioned and the money let at interest 'till my children comes of age and then equally divided among them.
Item: I will and bequeath to my wife four Negro's during her life (to wit) Dick, Neaton, Betty and James and one fourth part of the remaining part of my personal estate.
Item: I give and bequeath the remaining part of my estate to my children to be equally divided among them when they come of age or marry.
I appoint my friends Major Harry Turner and my brother John Ware my Executors to this my Last Will and Testament. Lastly I order that my Executors be not obliged to give security. In Witness I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventh day of October One thousand Seven hundred and Fifty.

At a Court held for King George County on Friday December the 7th 1750.
The Last Will and Testament of Henry Ware, Deceased, was presented into Court by John Ware one of his Executors who made oath thereto, Harry Turner the other refusing to take the Executorship on him, and the same was proved by the oaths of William Marshall
and Benja Marshall and admitted to record.
