1801--March 23, Wm. Chesnut and Vincent Tapp, surety. Wm. Chesnut and Mary Gold, daughter of Robert Gold and Esther Gold, and of age. (Affidavit of Elizabeth Marshal, wife of John Marshal, but signed Elizabeth Caldwell.) Wm. also of age. (Affidavit of Robt. McElhany, who swears he is of same age as Wm.)
