Note:
..this twentieth day of November eighteen hundred and twelve I, Charle Evans, of the County of Mason in the State of Kentucky ... my body at my death I reccomend to be burried in a decent manner at the descretion of my beloved wife Anna Evans and John Dye whom I ordain and appoint Executrix and Executer. And as touching such worldly Estate where with it has pleased God to bless me with in this life I give demise and dispose of in the following manner. All my just debts are to be punctually paid I give and bequeath to me beloved wife Anna Evans two feather beds and one saddle also one third of all my personal property namely household and kitchen furniture farming utensils horses horse geers and stock of every kind. I also give and bequeath to my beloved wife Anna Evans during her natural life the use of my dwelling house with the improvements. Also one third of my plantation during her natural life, then to go to my son Job Evans.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Dye wife of Wm. Dye the one third of all my personal property what she has already got to be considered a part of said third the Articles which she has received being charged to her but not to receive the ballance of said third till after the above mentioned are paid. I also give grant and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Dye wife of William Dye a lot of ground no 55 in the Town of Chillothe in the State of Ohio to her and her heirs. Igive and bequeath to my son Job Evans the remaining one third of my personal property. Also the use of the other two thirds of my plantation than the one third which I have bequeathed to my beloved wife Anna Evans during her natural life. To have the use of said two thirds during the natural life of my said wife at the death of my beloed wife Anna Evans I give grant and bequeath to my son Job Evans him and his heirs forever all and every part and parcel of my plantation with the improvements an! d appurtenances thereto belonging all the grain including small and summer grain that is now on the plantation is to go the use of my beloved wife Anna Evans and my son Job Evans likewise the small grain that is now growing. Whereas my plantation is now in dispute and the right of it in my self uncertain Now provided it should be lost with respect to my self and heirs it is my will and desire that the above mentioned lot of ground No. 55 in Chillicothe should go to my son Job Evans him his heirs. In confirmation of this to be my last will and Testament In witness whereof set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
