  Thomas Palmer married Katherine Coutanceau (d. 1726, St. Mary's County) who was the widow of Thomas Waughop (d. 1700, St. Mary's County). Katherine Waughop, daughter of Thomas Waughop and Katherine Coutanceau, married William Kennedy, Jr. (son of William Kennedy and Ann____, who m. second, William Watts, Jr.) Thomas Waughop, Jr. was also named in the will of Thomas Palmer. Cornelius Kennedy did have a son named William and he was probably William Sr. Linda Reno
