      Margrett Hart of Stafford County widow and relict of Mr. Edwd. Hart late of said county, to my dear and well beloved child Elizabeth Hart, natural daughter of the said Margrett Hart, widow.       Bernard & Wife to Bernard Deed of Gift
      This indenture made the 13th day of October 1757 between Richard Bernard and Elizabeth Bernard his wife of the parish of St. Paul in the County of Stafford of the one part and William Bernard of the parish of Washington in the County of Westmoreland, Attorney at Law of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Elizabeth Bernard in consideration of the natural love and affection which he hath and bear unto William Bernard, her son as for his better maintenance as given by these presents all that tract of land lying on the head of Upper Machodoc Creek in the parish of Washington in County of Westmoreland containing by estimation 229 acres whereon William Hutcherson, Samuel Crange and Peter Crafford now lives. In witness whereof the said Richard Bernard and Elizabeth Bernard have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.
