Indenture made February 6, 1779; William Roby Owen and Lucy Owen of Montgomery County, Maryland in consideration of 83 pounds 15 shillings current money paid by Thomas Crow of PGCo has sold part of a tract left her by her father it being the 1/7th part of the several tracts called the "Addition to Samuel's Forest" or by a resurvey called the "Addition to Samuel's Forest Enlarged", "Swearingham's Expectation" and "Farmers Chance". Signed William Roby Owen, Lucey Owen in the presence of and acknowledged before Edward Burgess, George Cullom and at the same time Lucey Owen wife of William Roby Owen relinquished her right of dower (JP's of Montgomery County, Maryland)
