      Then Ratcliffe states, "...I have met with C. F. Ford admor of George Simpson dec'd. who was Exor of John Simpson and distributees of Catherine Simpson dec'd ... There is the entire portion of four of the heirs yet due all of whom are foreigners as informed..."
      *From Mary Gregg: This was the settlement of the estate of the John Simpson who died in 1808. His wife was Catherine Ford, daughter of Thomas and Jane (UNK) Ford. Catherine (Ford) Simpson was the aunt of Charles F. Ford, he being the son of Catherine's brother, Edward Ford.
