Death of George, Jr. (1142), died without issue. Will dated 17 May 1788; probated 1 Jan. 1789, (K.G. Will Book 2, pgs. 107 and Ill). Witnesses: William Marshall, Mary Marshall, George Marshall.
Leaves to second wife Catherine all "I got by her marriage" and "the use of the estate except what is given to my beloved mother Ann, and if Catherine survives Anne the use of my whole estate during her widow-hood, but no longer."
At that time, the land goes to George Marshall (11411), the son of his brother James Marshall (1141) deceased.
The rest of the estate is then divided three ways
      (1) to his sister Betty Ford Chapman's two children by William Ford, deceased,
      (2) to the children of his brother James being a son and three daughters. Nothing to the son who has already been given land, and
      (3) "to my sister Guy's children."
Catherine renounced the will. G.H.S. King says she remarried to Robert H. Hooe, and was the daughter of Capt. Moore Fauntleroy
      and wife formerly Elizabeth Mitchell.
