      Grandson: Justinian Jordan, the land where I live that was left to me by my brother, John Cane: one looking glass in the old hall; one white and blue bowl; six stone plates; one red bolster and pillow; one pair of sheets; two red flowered tumblers; a one pint china bowl; and one punch ladle.
      Grandson: James Jordan. one pewter dish; six plates; one pair of beer glasses; and one Japanese tea chest. If he should now be dead or never returns here, his legacy is devised to Townsend Eden.
      Grandson: John Jordan, one bay gelding; one small looking glass; and one small table. If John should be now dead, this legacy is devised to Molly Briscoe, the daughter of Hanson Briscoe.
      Grandson: Townsend Eden. six Queen's china plates with gilt edges; one pair of stone candlesticks with round bottoms; and a negro man named Scrabee.
      Granddaughter: Mary Briscoe. one corner cupboard; one damask table cloth of the smallest size and one green coffee pot.
      Great Granddaughter: Betsy Briscoe. six silver tablespoons.
      Great Granddaughter: Mary Llewellin, one dressing table; six silver tablespoons: one pair of white stone candlesticks with square bottoms; six china cups and saucers; one fluted stone bowl: one bay horse three years old; one feather bed; a bolster and two pillows; one quilt; one counterpane; one ewe lamb; one large leather trunk.       The balance of my estate is to be divided among my great grandchildren and my grandsons. James Jordan and John Jordan. If James and John are dead or never return home to their native places, their part of my estate is to go to their brother. Justinian Jordan.
      I request to be buried without ostentation or pomp, to be laid in same grave as my deceased husband, and to have the stone placed over one grave.

      To grandson James Eden, plantation whereon my bro. George Mills now lives, or tobacco and interest arising therefrom, but in case his father gives him plantation he now lives on then above plantation or tobacco and interests to go to my grandson John Eden after my brother's death and his father's.
      To grandson Thomas Eden half of 500 a. taken up jointly with John Eden on Pipe Creek in Frederick Co.
      To grandson Townshend Eden small piece of land bought from Mathew Herbert between Majr Bond's land and John Mattingly's.
      To grandson John Jordan, plantation whereon John Reeves now lives, or tobacco and money with interest for which it was mortgaged. But in case he receives tobacco and money with interest, that to be laid out in shares and be kept to English and Grammer School until he is fit to be bound out to some creditable business at discretion of John Eden and be schooled out of my estate.
      To grandson James Jordan, plantation whereon William Watkin now lives or money with interest for which it mortgaged for, and he to be kept to English and Grammer School.
      That my bro. Andrew Mills live and remain on plantation whereon he is until Jistn. Jordan comes of age. Jestn. Jordan to be kept at school with Mr. Isaac Campbell 3 years after finishing this present year.
      To Jesse Jordan, Negro boy he brought from his father's called Charles.
      If my brother keeps in repair two tobacco houses, kitchen and cornhouse, under inspection of John Eden and James Jordan, then he shall be released from paying one crop per year of tobacco.
      That exs. pay to Lydia Reeves 5000 #. of crop tobacco.
      After wife's death John Eden to have Negro Serabo and 100 #. current money out of Eastern Shore cargoe to be used for education of my dau Eden's children.
      That Len blacksmith and Juda. his wife and smith tools not be appraised but sold to highest bidder.
      That John Eden have that piece of land being part of "Weems," which Philip Key was to convey to me.
      That my half of sloop, Mary and Ann, be divided amongst James Eden, Jestn. Jordan and James Mills, Junr.
      That Jimmy Eden, Jestn. Jordan have Negro Nat or Ben which my wife chooses. That Jimmy Eden's part to be under care and directions of his father, and Jestn. Jordan's part to be under care and management of James Mills, Junr.
      That two Negro girls be bought for Mary Nappler Jordan and Ann Nappler Eden.
      Wife Nappler Mills, have labour of all my slaves, all other movables. At my wife's death Negroes, stock and goods, to go to two daus.'s children: Elizabeth Jordan and Mary Eden.
