      Whereas Mary my wife did while she was a widow and when a treaty of marriage was had between us, to wit on 16 Jan 1748/9, enter into a bond relative thereunto payable to Robey Seward In the sum of 50 lbs sterling to which I refer my ex.

      I, Mary Wilson of CC, bind myself to Roby Stewart of CC in the just sum of 50 £sterling money of GB this Jan 16, 1748/9, to warrant that Mary adheres to the following marriage agreement between her Daniel Stewart: if Mary Wilson survives Daniel Stewart, Mary is to abide by Daniel's will and testament, otherwise to be content with the third of one plantation and to release her dowry of any other plantation, and to have the third part of all his personal estate excepting what Negroes Daniel dies possessed of, which Negroes Mary obliges herself to release.
