Frederick County Virginia Will Book No. 6 with Inventories and Accounts 1795-1802
Pages 520-521: Will of Eleanor Talbott, widow
Eleanor Talbott of Frederick County, Virginia names nephew, Archibald Edmonson to inherit land. Upon Archibald’s death, the land is to go to his son Thomas Edmonson. Also leaves a bequest to Eleanor Edmonson, a daughter of Archibald. Leaves land to another nephew, Daniel Magruder. After Daniel’s decease, land is to pass to Theodore Magruder, son of Daniel. Leaves a bequest to my niece, Ann Nichols, wife of Samuel Nichols. 20 pounds to Hezekiah Young. A carriage and 15 pounds to Ann Harding, wife of Josiah Harding. Residue of the estate goes to my brother, Hezekiah Magruder, and his three children: Daniel Magruder, Ann Harding, wife of Josiah Harding, and George Magruder. Brother, Hezekiah Magruder appointed sole executor in her will. Will dated 15 April 1800.
Will was brought to Frederick County Virginia Court 1 September 1800. Proved by two of the will witnesses: James Hickman and John Cooper. Hezekiah Magruder came to court and refused to be executor. Daniel Magruder became the sole executor.

To son Samuel, 214 A,, and 1/3 pt. of lot in Marlborough.
To son Ezekiah, 100 A, lying next to Zachaiah Magruder, pt. of tract I now live on, after his mother's decease, the whole tract to him.
To dau. Sarah, 5 pounds.
To dau. Elizabeth, 100 A. that was taken up in partnership with Samuel Magruder, the 1/3 where Thomas Edmonston settled during life, and at her decease to her son Maximilan.
To dau. Anna, 1 slave girl.
To dau. Elinor, I slave.
To wife Anne,, 1 slave.
Give my 5 children: Nathaniel, Samuel, Ezeklah, Anna and Eleanor,to be equally divided bet. them.
