      -to have all of testatrix's tract of land in Charles County called "Rozer's Refuge"
      -to have Negro man "Hector" and "Moses"
      -to have one third of testatrix's corn, tobacco, money and household furn. and one third of the plate
      -to have the tract of land called "Bucker's (?) Quarter" and all that lying to the southward of a large branch or run that makes in to the creek called Portobaaco Creek and a small part of the marsh that is now ditched and which lies to the northward of the said branch and to be laid off so as to cont. 20 acres
      -named executor of the will
      2. John Contee --son
      -to have silver coffee pot, and mourning ring of 1 guinea price
      3. Catherine Harrison--daughter
      Barbara Reed--daughter
      -son Thomas to pay each the sum of 50 pounds sterling and should he refuse, then he is to have no part of the land left to him in Charles County
      -remainder of the land called "Rozer's Refuge" to be divided between them -Catherine to have Negro woman "Nan" and Negro boy "John"
      -Catherine to have one third part of the plate, one third part of the corn and tobacco and one third part of the household fum.
      -Barbara to have Negro men "Ben" and "Peter"
      -Barbara to have one third part of the corn and tobacco, one third part of the plate, and one third part of the household furn.
      -testatrix wants it understood that the money given to daughters Catherine and Barbara and to son Thomas is not to be part of the money due testatrix from W. Hyde, merchant

      Montgomery County Land Records, 1777-1781; Liber A1, Page 521, Feb 28, 1780 from William Molleson of London, merchant, by Thomas Contee of Prince George's County, his atty in fact, to Alexander Contee of Baltimore Town, merchant, for 7100 £, lot #92 in the Addition to George Town, now in M, which sd lot was purchased by sd William Molleson of a certain Charles Beatty and George Fraser Hawkins, as by deed recorded in Liber N fol 600, one of the Land Records of Frederick County, bounded by High Street, as per the plan of the Addition to George Town, recorded in the Records of Frederick County. Signed - Thos. Contee. Wit - Thos. Gantt Jr, Fielder Bowie. John Read Magruder, Clk of Prince George's County Court, certified that Thomas Gantt Jr and Fielder Bowie, Gentlemen, are Prince George's County JPs. Recorded Jun 28, 1780.
