      Testator desires that estate of her late husband Mr. Rozer, of which she was left extx,, be kept together and applied by exs. to use of children Catharine, Henry and Elizabeth as their father's will orders.
      To daus. Catharine and Elizabeth certain personalty out of testator's thirds; shd. either dau. die during minority or before marriage survivor to enjoy legacy of dec'd. Son Harry to be sent to Europe to be educated, £100 for his schooling to be allotted out of his share of personal estate.

      To Nephew Henry Rozer a Negro man Henry with his wife Liddy, and a suit of mourning and a gold mourning ring.

The within mentioned Notley Rozer, by his deed dated about Jan 5, 1721, did mortgage to John Hyde of Poplar in the County of Middlesex in Great Britain, merchant, sundry parcels of land in Maryland, & particularly the parcel of land called Sickamy. Sd Notley Rozer, wanting to raise money to discharge the mortgage by the sale (with the approbation of the sd John) of some of the lands so mortgaged as afd "projected in order thereto, the within mentioned lottery", whereby sd Walter Hoxton became entitled to the 225 acres more or less, the one moiety or half part of Sickamy. Now these presents witness that the sd John Hyde, for 10 £sterling to James Carroll, his attorney, in hand paid by Eliza Rozer, executrix of sd Notley Rozer, has released to sd Walter Hoxton, in his possession being, all of sd John's right to the 225 acres.       Indenture, 22 Aug 1727; Between Charles Digges, Gent., of Prince George's Co. and Richard Bennett of Queen Anne Co-; whereas Notley Rozer, dec'd, set up a lottery commonly called Rozer's Two Thousand Pound Lottery the prizes consisting, among other things, of sundry parcels of land; to avoid any destruction of sd. lottery Rozer did by codicil to his will 6 Apr 1727 authorize Col. Thomas Addison and Charles Digges to proceed; mentions 3 acres of Stone's Delight surveyed for Richard Stone 1 Oct 1662, patented for 500 acres; by him conveyed 8 Jan 1670 to Thomas Allanson who conveyed to Benjamin Rozer, father of sd.       Mar 28, 1728 from Charles Digges of Prince Georges County, Cent, to Capt Thomas Davison of London, mariner. Notley Rozer, late of Prince Georges County, Esq, made public proposals of and set up a lottery commonly called Rozers 2000 pound Lottery, the prizes whereof, amongst other things, consisting of sundry parcels of land. To avoid any obstruction to the drawing of sd lottery by sd Notly's death, and that the adventurers therein might, on such accident, have the full benefit of such prizes as they were entitled to by the lottery, sd Notley did, by a codicil annexed to his will, dated about Apr 6, 1727, authorize Colo Thomas Addison and Charles Digges afd, or either of them, to convey any lands won in the lottery. Sd Thomas Davison is entitled to the prize in the lottery numbered 2, consisting of 225 acres, being the one moiety or half part of a tract of land called Sickamy, originally surveyed on Mar 5, 1661 for George Thompson, and lying in CC on the east side of Portobacco Cr on the back side of Simon Oversee's land, as by the certificate of survey and patent thereof may more fully appear. Now this present deed witnesses that sd Charles, for 10 £sterling to Elizabeth Rozer, executrix of the will of sd Notley in hand paid, Charles Digges has sold Thomas Davison all that the afd moiety of the afd parcel of land called Sickamy afd.
