Ralph Crabb m Priscilla Sprigg non August 22, 1716 by Jno. White dau. of Col. Thomas Sprigg
Sarah Crabb Born October 20, 1717
Thomas Crabb Born April 21, 1719
Margaret Crabb Born August 13, 1721
Henry Wright Crabb Born January 16, 1722/1723
      Ralph Crabb Born November 29,1724
Ellinor Crabb Born September 20, 1726
      Jeremiah Crabb Born October 1728
John Crabb Born June 15, 1731

Child Edward Wright Crabb was born after his father's death near 8 March 1734, as according to his father's Will, he was yet unborn. This child is sometimes confused with an Edward R. Crabb, but there is no connection.

Ralph Crabb Junior was given power of attorney in a 1718 London estate settlement of Isaac Miller of London which was completed in 1730 and the record is in Maryland. Marsha Berry has found no London Crabb family, even though is was a norm to conduct affairs through London and not be from there.

Ralph Crabb was a merchant and trader and was in the legislature in Maryland.

      Ralph Crabb surveyed Deer Park.

A place of interest in Charles county, Maryland is Wiltshire Plains which is Ralph Crabb's county he was born in in England. Since the 1800's the Boone family has owned the house. In 2002 Wiltshire Plains is a Bed and Breakfast at 4710 Bryantown Road, a three story clapboard colonial-style farmhouse built about 1760 on approximately 5 acres, in Bryantown, Maryland, now owned and operated by Anne (Edelen) Boone and her husband Charles, who can be reached at 800-808-7773. Nearby LaPlata Community College has an excellent Genealogy Library.

Too many abouts and no documentation on London, Norfolk, Stafford, and Devon Counties, England theories:
There is a branch of Emmons and Sprigg and Mariarte Family that believes that Ralph Crabb was born about 1670 and died about 1724 in Prince George's, Maryland. No proof, just belief and have it in their family records. They have Ralph Crabb's father being Henry Crabb born 1633 or 1637 in Seething, Norfolk, England and died in Kent County, Maryland and mother being Hannah or Nanna Emmons born about 1641 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts and died in Maryland. This Henry Crabb and Hannah Emmons were married on 11 Jan 1657 or 1658 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Henry Crabb and Hannah Emmons children were:
      1. Martha Crabb born about 1661 in Boston
      2. Elizabeth Crabb born about 1662 in Boston
      3. Samuel Crabb born about 1664 in Boston
      4. Mary Crabb born about 1668 in Boston
      5. Thomas Crabb born 1666 in Kent County, Maryland and died on 3 Jan 1719 in Charles County, Maryland. (Marsha challenged this)
      6. Ralph Crabb born about 1670 and died about 1724 in Prince George's, Maryland. (Marsha challenges this)

Then Henry Crabb's father is Thomas Crabb born about 1600 in Stafford County, England and died in England or America and mother is Grace Scroggs born about 1610 in England. Thomas Crabb and Grace Scroggs were married about 1639 in Wiltshire, England.
Thomas Crabb and Grace Scroggs children were:
      1. Edward Crabb born about 1640
      2. Henry Crabb born about 1633 or 1637 in Seething, Norfolk, England and died in 1698 in Kent County, Maryland.
