Posey, Elizabeth Posey, Bean Posey, Easter Posey, Mary Posey, Sarah Posey, Anne Posey, Roger Posey. --To wife Mary, all estate during life. --To son Wheeler Posey, all estate at death of wife, and if he should die without heir, then to son Roger Posey. --Exec. Benja. Maddox --sg. Humphrey Posey, his mark "HP" --wit. Leonard Maddox, Benja. Maddox === Humphrey Posey of Charles County - Will dated 13 March 1783 - proved 28 Feb'y 1784 (Charles Co., Lib. B, no. 1, fol. 278). One shilling each to son Prior Posey, son Benjamin Posey, daughter Elizabeth Posey, son Been Posey, daughter Easter Posey, daughter Sarah Posey, daughter Ann Posey, and son Roger Posey. All the rest of my estate to my wife Mary Posey and at her death to my son Wheeler Posey. Should my son Wheeler die without issue, it is to go to my son Roger Posey. My friend Benj. Maddox executor.
