      Daniel Harrison's Will
      In the Name of God Amen, I Daniel Harrison of Westmoreland being very sick and weak of body but of perfect sence and memory do make this my last will and testament.
      Item I give my land to my son William Lewis Harrison and to his heirs and if he should die without heir, my son Willougby Harrison shall have the land;
      My will is that my wife Eleanor Harrison shall have the use of all my land if she will raise my children till my son William Lewis Harrison shall arrive to the age of 21 years;
      I give to my son William Lewis Harrison the feather bed and furniture he usually lays on.
      My will is that all my children have one years schooling out of my estate and the remainder of my estate to be equally divided between my loving wife and my five children, William Lewis Harrison, Sally Harrison, Willoughby Harrison, Daniel Harrison and James Harrison.
      I appoint my loving wife Eleanor Harrison and my brother Joshua Harrison my whole and sole executors of this my last will and testament by me made this 12th day of July 1774. Signed sealed and acknowledged in the presents of

      At a court held for Westmoreland County the 26the day of March 1782, this will was proved according to law by the oaths of Elizabeth Williams a witness thereto and the same having been before proved in March 1776 by the oaths of Samuel Harrison and Jeremiah Harrison the other witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded; and on the motion of Eleanor Harrison the executrix therein named who made oath thereto according to law and together with Stewart Redman her security entered into and acknowledgd bond with condition as the law directs, certificate is granted her for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.

      Demcey Porter's Will
      In the name of God Amen, February 7th 1793, I Dempsey Porter of the County of Westmoreland and Parish of Cople being sick and weak in body but in the usual memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament.
      First, I give and bequeath unto my son William Porter, Negro girl Margery, my young sorrel horse called Travellor, saddle and bridle, a gun, chest and case of black walnut in one, one feather bed and furniture.
      Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Elinor Porter, Negro girl Sarah, one feather bed and furniture, one cow and calf, one bay horse colt named Snapp, and three ewes.
      The remainder of my estate both real and personal I give unto my loving wife Elizabeth Porter during her widowhood and if my said wife should think fit to marry, at her marriage or death I give and bequeath all my lands to my son William Porter; and my daughter Elinor Porter to have Negro girl Priscilla.
      Then my will and desire is that the residue of my estate (not before given) both the Negroes and their increase and all my movable estate not before given be equally divided between my said son William Porter and my daughter Elinor Porter after my just debts are paid out of my estate.
      Lastly, I appoint my son William Porter and my loving friend and cousin W. Porter executor to this my last will and testament, but in case my said cousin W. Porter does not choose to serve as an executor there in his stead I appoint my friend Charles Jones executor. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written.

      At a court held for Westmoreland County the 22nd day of August 1796 this will was proved according to law by the oaths of James Harrison and Daniel Harrison two of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded; and on the motion of William Porter one of the executors therein named who made oath thereto according to law and together with James Rust and John Yeatman his security entered into and acknowledged bond with condition as the law directs, certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.
