      Sarah Collinsworth's [Collingsworth] Will
      In the name of God Amen, I Sarah Collinsworth of the Parish of Cople and County of Westmoreland being sick of body but of sound and perfect memory do constitute ordain and make this my last will and testament.
      Item I give and bequeath to John Collinsworth, Sr., the tract of land left me by my father containing 50 acres and if he should die without heir then to William Steel, and if he should die without heir, then to Thomas Franklin son to William Franklin.
      I give and bequeath all the remaining part of my estate to John Collinsworth, Sr., whom I appoint my whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament. Given under my hand this 22nd day of May 1790. Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of us

      At a court held for Westmoreland County the 28th day of December 1790 this will was proved according to law by the oaths of John Brown Steel and Yoell Brinnon two of the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded; and on the motion of John Collinsworth the executor therein named who made oath thereto according to law and together with James Sorrell his security entered into and acknowledged bond with condition as the law directs, certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.

      John Collingsworth's Will
      In the name of God, Amen, I John Collinsworth, Sr., of the County of Westmoreland and parish of Cople, planter being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament.
      Item all the land I hold between the division line that divides me and Nathaniel Butler and my nephew John Collinsworth and my nephew Thomas Collinsworth, to the head of the creek where the marsh forks, thence running up the marsh to the spring from thence to the road by the same branch, from thence running up the east fork of the said branch to the line that divides me and John Brinnon in the land that belongs to me after my brother Willoughby’s death, I give to my son Thomas Collinsworth.
      Item all the land I hold between the spring branch and the corner that hath been mentioned to the line that divides me and John Washington and John Brinnon I leave to my son John Collinsworth.
      If my son Thomas Collinsworth dies without heir his part of the land I leave to my son Willoughby Collinsworth.
      If my son John Collinsworth dies without heir his part of the land I leave to my son Jesse Collinsworth.
      If they all four shall die without lawful heir then the above land I leave to my son Vincent Collinsworth.
      If all my son shall die without lawful heir then the above land I leave to my three daughters, Sarah Collinsworth, Peggy Collinsworth, and Martha Collinsworth.
      All my movable estate I leave to my wife Margaret Collinsworth in my children to be equally divided amongst them.

      Lastly to conclude I nominate and appoint my wife Margaret Collinsworth and son Thomas Collinsworth soul executors of this my last will and testament. My desire is that my son Thomas Collinsworth should give my four youngest children one years schooling a piece, to take care of his mother as long as she lives and all the children until they come of age and to live together.
      In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this ninth day of October 1766
