      The account of Henrietta Posey, admx of Thomas Posey, late of CC, decd, viz -
      Debts include: the inventory of sd decd's estate, exhibited into the Prerogative office on Mar 3, 1777, in all, 417 £4 shillings 8.75 pence; crop tobacco recd of James Murphey; money recd of Marcus Lattimar, of William Matthews; crops of tobacco, corn, and beans, made in the year the decd died and inspected in 1777. The whole amount: 508 £16 shillings 11.75 pence.
      Disbursements went to: Jno Briscoe for rent, George Keech as per accepted order drawn by John Willson on the decd, John Willson per account proved for schooling children in 1775 and 1776, Doctor Joseph Adderton, Frederick Green printer for 2 years Gazette, Register Walter Hanson, Jno Briscoe for rent becoming due the Christmass after the decd died, the accountant for supporting the family [until] the crop was finished. Balance accountable: 434 £8 shillings 6.75 pence.

      At the request of Elias Goley, the following Deed was recorded May 5, 1801
      Indenture made February 14, 1801; between Justinian Knott of CC of one part and Elias Goley guardian of Permelia Hancock, Cloe Ann Hancock, Thomas Hancock, Drusilla Hancock and Randall Hancock children of Thomas Hancock deceased of CC of the other part. Witnesseth that the parties in order to firmly and quietly settle the limits and lines of the land which Justinian Knott owns as lessee of Henrietta Posey widow of Thomas Posey and her {right of } dower and the lands which Goley holds as guardian, the parties did by instrument leave to the arbitration and award of Henry Dent, Luke Francis Matthews and Theophilus Hanson to locate mark and describe the dower of Henrietta Posey in the lands held by Thomas Posey. And the arbitrator did in due form make an award to the said dower on November 13, 1800 and beginning in the first line of "Lothbury, to the second and third lines of "Algate" to "Lothbury" to the beginning containing 44 acres and 24 perches and the said Knott and Goley have consented to abide by and confirm the location of the land. Now the said Goley as guardian doth hereby assign to Knott the 44 acres and 24 perches as the full and entire right of Knott by virtue of the lease and Knott doth hereby release and quit claim to all right and title to the tracts "Algate" and "Lothbury" not contained within the limits and location aforesaid.
