To son Thomas Posey, 2 tracts, one called Lotheberry," 50 acres; the other called Allgate" adjoining, 40 acres; also part of another tract called Nuddles Branch Enlarged" lying near the above tract called Allgate near the tract called Burlings Hills" just below the forks of Nudoles Branch.
To son Francis, a tract called Wallingford in Durham Parish, 167 acres and a Negro wench Pat.
To son Belain Posey, my dwelling plantation and all land adjoining; also other land not mentioned; also a Negro wench Grace,
To son Richard Posey, furniture.
To son Jacob Posey, tract called "Nuddles Branch Enlarged" on the west side of the road that leads from Piccowaxen to Portobacco; also a Negro wench Sue,

Jacob Posey's Final Account.. Sep 19, 1778.
The account at Benjamin Vernon Posey, admor of Jacob Posey, late of CC, decd.
Debts: the inventory of the deed's estate, exhibited into Orphan Court on Jul 1, 1777, amounting to 25 £2 shillings 4 pence; money received of Belane Posey. The whole amount: 31 £15 shillings 5 pence.
Disbursements went to: Belane Posey for attendance in sickness and funeral expenses; George Keech; William Hanson, Sheriff, for 2 years' levies; Walter Hanson, Register, for letters and for recording inventory and for recording this account. Balance accountable: 20 £3 shillings 1 pence.
Final Account: 31 £15 shillings 5 pence. Securities: George Keech and Saml Cox of CC.
Representatives: Belane Posey, Benjamin Vernon Posey, Anne Cartwright, at age and alive, John Posey, Thomas Posey, Richard Poseys, and Mary Anne Newman's children.

At the request of John Posey, Francis Posey, Belane Posey, Jacob Posey, Mary Ann Posey, Eliza Posey, & Ann Posey, the following deed of gift was recorded on Oct 1, 1750,
I, Francis Posey of CC, for the love I have for my children, viz, John Posey, Francis Posey, Belane Posey, Jacob Posey, Mary Ann Posey, Eliza Posey, & Ann Posey, I assign the several Negroes as follows, viz, to John, Negroes Sarah and Robert; to Francis, Negroes Pat & Will; to Belane, Negroes James and Grace; to Richard, Negroes Jack and Esther; to Jacob, a Negro woman called Bess (Bess to be delivered to Jacob after his mother's death); to Mary Ann Posey, a Negro girl named Sarah; to Eliza, a Negro girl called Nell; to Ann, a Negro girl called Eve.
