IN THE NAME OF GOD. Amen, I JAMES GRACE of the Parish of Cople and County of Westmoreland being in perfect sense and memory doth make this my Last Will in manner and form as followeth.
Item. I give and bequeath to my Loving Wife, JOHANNAH GRACE, for and dureing her natural life all my Estate of what nature or kind soever and after her decease to fall to the Child or Children she is now big with to them and their heirs forever. item. My will and desire is that if my Loving Wife should not be with Child, that then my desire is that she have and enjoy all my Estate above given to her and her heirs forever:
In Witness hereto, 1 set my hand and seal this 26th day of November 1744

Westmoreland Sct. At a Court held for the said County the 30th day of July 1745 This Last Will and Testiment of JAMES GRACE, deceased, was presented into Court by JOANE, his Relict who made Oath thereto and being proved by the Oath of PETER RUST, one of the witnesses thereto who also swore that he saw the other witnesses thereto subscribe their names as such thereto is admitted to Record, And for that the said JAMES hath omitted to appoint any Executor to the said Will, Upon the motion of the said
JOANE and her giving the aforesaid RUST and JOHN CRITCHER for her security according to Law, Certificate is granted her for obtaining Letters of Administration thereupon with the said Will annexed in due form Teste GEORGE LEE, C. W. C.
