IN THE NAME OF GOD, Amen. I GEORGE HAUGHLCOM of Westmorland County and Parish of Coply being sick and weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory, do make this my Last Will and Testamt. in manner and form as followeth, viz., first and foremost I give my Soul into the hands of the Almighty God who made it hopeing to receive free pardon and remission for all my sins & iniquities that I hath comitted and my body to be buryed at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my Daughter, SUSANA HAUGHLCOM, one Negro girl named Lett & her increase to her & her heirs for ever;
Item. I give and bequeath to my Daughter, MARY HAUGHLCOM, one Negro girl named Frank & her increase to her & her heirs for ever;
Item. I give & bequeath unto my other three Daughters, MILLY HAUGHLCOM, JENNY HAUGHLCOM & HANNAH HAUGHLCOM, each of them one Negro Child apeice in case the wench named Dinah brings them
Item. I give & bequeath unto my Loving Wife one Negro wench named Dinah during her Widowhood and one Negro boy named Cupit during her Widowhood and then to return and be equally divided between my three Daughters, MILLEY HAUGHLCOM, JENNY HAUGHLCOM & HANNAH HAUGHLCOM
Item. I give and bequeath unto my Daughter, HANNAH HAUGHLCOM, Fifty acres of land more or less joyning to HENRY ASBURY to hir and hir heirs for ever, turn over,
Item. my Will & desire is that all my Debts be justly paid.
Item. My Will & desire that my personal Estage be equally divided between my Loving Wife, ISABELL HAUGHLCOM, SUSANNAH HOUGHLCOM, MARY HOUGHLCOM, MILLY HOUGHLCOM, JENNY HOUGHLCOM and HANAH HOUGHLCOM. My Will and desire is that my Loveing Wife and RICHD. PAGGITT be Executors of the whole Estate whilst my Children comes of age. My Will and desire is that my two Daughters, SUSANA HOUGHLCOM and MARY HOUGHLCOM may be at liberty at sixteen years of age each of them

County on the 27th day of June Anno Dom: 1749 This Last Will and Testamt. of GEORGE HALCOME, deced., being presented into Court by ISABELL HALCOME, one of the Exors. therein nam'd, who made Oath thereto & being prov'd by the Oaths of all the witnesses thereto is admitted to Record; And on ye mocon of the said ISABELL and her performg., what is usual in such cases, Certificate is granted her for obtaining a Probate thereof in due form
