      SNEAD's Will proved The Last Will and Testament of CHARLES SNEAD, deced., was presented in Court by SARAH SNEAD, one of the Executors, who made Oath thereto and being proved by the Oaths of RICHARD CLAXTON and WILLIAM GRIFFIN, two of the witnesses thereto, is admitted to Record, and on motion of the Executor and her performing what is usuall in such cases, Certificate is granted her for obtaining a Probate thereof in due forme
      - SNEAD's Estate to be appraised CHARLES BRUCE, JOHN MORTON, WILLIAM JENINGS and CHARLES SPOE or any three of them sometime between this and the next Court are appointed to appraise all and singular the Estate of CHARLES SNEAD, deced. which shall be presented to their view and make report thereof
      to the next Court. WILLIAM FANTLEROY Gent., or any other Justice of the Peace for this County, is requested to administer an Oath to the Appraisers for their true appraisment of the Decedent's Estate as also to SARAH SNEAD, one of the Executors, for her true discovery thereof

      THIS INDENTURE made the 26th day of February in the fifth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George by the grace of God of Great Brittaine France & Ireland, King. Defender of the faith &c., and in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and Eighteen Between CHARLES SNEADE of Parish of Sittenburn in County of Richmond of one parte and JOHN MORTON JUNR. of ye same Parish & County of other parte; Wittnesseth that CHARLES SNEAD for sume of Five Shillings of lawful! money of England to him in hand paid by JOHN MORTON JUNR., hath bargained sold Lease and to farme letten unto JOHN MORTON JUNR. and assignes one certain tract of land containing Seventy five acres lying in Parish of Sittenburne and County aforesd: the sd: Seventy five acres is parte of a Pattent granted to JOHN MERRYMAN and MORGAN HAINES for Seven hundred acres of land dated the 26th of February 1653, and is bounded; Begining at a Maple by CHARM SNEADs Beaver Dam Run side, thence up a Branch which parts this land from SNEADs other Land, 5: 30d: E: 53 pole, thence S; 45d: E: 80 pole, thence S. 34d: W. 16 1/4 pole, thence S: 19d: E. 28 pole to a Stake by the Main Road side, thence N: 30d: E. 49 pole along the Road, thence So. 80d: E: 34 pole to a Stake by a marked red Oak corner to JOHN DAVIS JUNR. his land, thence along ad: DAVIS land N. 62d, E: 34 pole to a Stake by DAVIS Path, thence N. 46d: W. 225 pole to a Stake by the side of CHARLES SNEADs Beave Dam Run side, thence down said Run to the first mentioned Maple, with all orchards profitts advantages whatsoever with the Royalties of hawking fishers and fowling & mines mineralls & queries; To have and to hold the demised premises unto JOHN MORTON JUNR. his heirs during the term of one year paying yearly on the Tenth day of December to CHARLES SNEAD or assignes one grain of Indian Corne if demanded to the intent that by vertue of these presents and of the Stattute for transfering uses into possession said JOHN MORTON JUNR. may be in actuall possession of the premises and be thereby the better enabled to accept a conveyance of the Inheritance thereof; In Wittness whereof the said CHARLES SNEAD hath hereunto sett his hand and Seale the day & year above written

      THIS INDENTURE made the 27 day of February in the fifth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George by the grace of God of Great Brittain France & Ireland, ring, Defender of the faith &c., and in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and Eighteen, Between CHARLES SNEAD of Parish of Sittenbourn in ye County of Richmond of one part & JOHN MORTON JUNR. of the same Parish & County of other part; Wittnesseth that CHARLES SNEAD for the sum of Three thousand Eight hundred pounds of Tobo: to him in hand paid by JOHN MORTON JUNR., by these presents do bargains sell release & confirme unto JOHN MORTON JUNR, his heirs one certain tract of land containing Seventy five acres lying in Parish of Sittenburn & County aforesd: the said Seventy five acres is part of a Pattent granted to JOHN MERRYMAN and MORGAN HAYNES for Seven hundred acres dated the 26th of February 1653 and is bounded (the description of the bounds of the land repeated u in the foregoing Lease); To have and to hold the tract of land unto JOHN MORTON JUNR, (in his actual! possession now being by vertue of one Indenture of Bargain & Sale; And CHARLES SNEAD do hereby warrant the sale of sd: Land from himselfe & his heirs from any claims of any person: In Wittness whereof the parties to these presents interchangeably their hands and Seales have sett the day and year first above written

      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I CHARLES SNEAD of the Parish of Sittenburn in County of Richmond am held and stand firmly bound unto JOHN MORTON JUNR. of ye same Parish & County in the full & just sume of One hundred & Fifty pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain to the which payment well and truely to be made I bind myself my heirs firmly by these presents; Sealed with my Seale and Dated ye 27 day of February in ye year of our Lord 1718
      THE CONDITION of th is Obligation is such that if ye above bound CHARLES SNEAD his heirs do at all time hereafter obsrve perform and keep all artickells agreements men- coned in certain Indentures of Bargain and Sale by Lease and Release made between CHARLES SNEAD of one part and JOHN MORTON JUNR. of other part and at the next Court to be held for County of Richmond or at any succeeding Court within the space of six months after the date hereof acknowledge the said Deeds to JOHN MORTON JUNR., his heirs: Then this present obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and venue
