      TO ALL CHRISTIAN PEOPLE shall come JAMES DUDLEY of the County of Middlesex Know you that the said James Dudley for sum of Five & Twenty hundred pounds of good Merchantable Tobacco to him already in hand paid by GEORGE DAVIS of the said County doth grant unto said George Davis his heirs & administrator One hundred acres of land being Part of a Tract of 170 acres formerly granted unto Mr.
      WILLM. DUDLEY late decd being in Middlx . County bounded by the lands of Mr. GEORGE KEEBLE. Mr. WILLM. SEETH & DABNEY [Davey] BERRICK as by the Patent granted by the right Honble the then Gover. and all right as the same was originally granted unto the said William Dudley. In Wiiness whereof said James Dudley hath hereunto put his hands & seals the Thirtyeth day of July 1681 .

      THIS INDENTURE made the 28th dav of March 1686 Between WILLIAM TIGNOR JUNR . of Middx . County in Virginia of one parte & DAVID NICKLESS of the same Witnesseth that said William Tignor for the summ of Seaven thousand pounds of good sweet sen ted Tobaccoe and Caske doth hereby grant unto the said David Nickles to his heires Two hundred acres of land on the South side of the Rappahanock River in Middx County bounded Beginning at a markt Pine tree against the said TIGNOR LANDING at ye mouth of a bran ch that devjdes the said Tignors now dwelling Plantation from a neck of land comonly known and called by the name of FFERNEY NECK and from tht aforesaid Pine to r unn tbe course West along the side of a certain cove and Branch still keeping his aforesaid Course through the woods, till he meets with the said Tignor head line or from thence to run his Course bounded in the lower side with a Creeke comonly called Tignors Creek untill he hath fully included Two hundred acres of land And that the said William Tignor and his heires and DOROTHY his now Wife shall make acknowledgement
