      THIS INDENTURE the 5th day of 9ber: 1706 and in the fourth yeare of the Reigne of our most gracious Sovereigne Lady Anne by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland, Queene defender of the faith &c., Betweene JAMES WEBB of ISLE a WIGHT County in Colony of Virginia, Gent. of one part and GYLES WEBB of County of Richmond, Gent., of other part; Wittnesseth that JAMES WEBB for the summe of Fifty pounds of good and lawful! money of England to him in hand payd by GYLES WEBB by these present do bargaine sell and confirme unto GYLES WEBB his heires a certaine parcell of land scituate in Parish of FARNHAM and County of Richmond on the North side of RAPPA: RIVER and on the head of RICHARDSONS CREEKE and on the South East side thereof being the moyety or halfe part of Six hundred eighty one acres of land granted to Mr. GYLES WEBB Gent. by Patent beareing date the 18th of Febry. 1667 which said halfe part containeing three hundred forty acres and a halfe beginning att a marked red Oake standing att the upper part of this land and running by a line of marked trees which devides the abovesaid 681 acres of land according to a Survey made the Eleventh day of June Ano: 1701 by Mr. THOMAS THOMSON, Surveyor, whereon now stands the houseing and plantation in the tenure and of late in the possession of said GYLES WEBB which said 340 1/2 acres of land as also all buildings on the said land with all the rights members and appurtenances appertaineing To have and to hold the three hundred forty and a halfe acres of land unto GYLES WEBB his heires and JAMES WEBB will forever defend by these presents subject nevertheless to the Witt rents that shall hereafter grow due to the Cheife Lord or Proprietors of the premises, In Wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and affixed my seale the day and yeare first above written ealed and delivered in the presents of us

      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I JAMES WEBB of the County of the ISLE of WIGHT, Gent., doe appoint my trusty and good Friend, Mr. JOHN TAYLOE, Gent., to be my true and lawful! Attorney and in my stead and place and in my name to acknowledge at the next Court held for the County of Richmond or at any time within Six months a Deed of Release bearingdate the same date with these presents, a Lease bearing date the day before and a Bond for the performance of the Covenants of the sd. Lease and Release wch: Bond beares date the same day with these presents; granted by me the sd: JAMES WEBB to one GILES WEBB of County of Richmond, Gent., of certain lands contained in the sd; Deeds to be and enure to the use and benefitt of sd: GILES WEBB his heirs; ratifying and confirming by these presents whatsoever my sd: Attorney shall do in the premises as if I ws their p:sonally present; Wittness my hand

      THIS INDENTURE made this 27th day of November Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and fifteen Between JAMES WEBB of the County of ISLE of WIGHT, Gent., of one . part and GILES WEBB of County of Richmond, Gent., of other part; Wittnesseth that whereas JAMES WEBB in consideracon of the sum of Fifty pounds Sterling paid to him by GILES WEBB had sold made over acknowledged and enrolled according to due course of Law to GILES WEBB his heirs one halfe part of a Patent of land granted to one GILES WEBB, Grandfather of said JAMES WEBB, lying in Parish of Northfarnham in County of Richmond and containing Six hundred eighty and one acres wch: Pattent beares the date the 18th day of Febry: 1667; And this Indenture further Wittnesseth that JAMES WEBB in consideracon of the sume of Five shillings currt. money doth demise lett farm and make over unto GILES WEBB his heires the other half part or moiety of said Patent, Together with all right title and interest of the whole Patent: bounded, Begining at a marked white Oake standing near a West Slash and running from thence N. N: W. 130 pa' to an Eastern Branch of RICHARDS CREEK, and soe over the Creeke 140 poles in all 270 poles for the breadth thereof; thence F: N: E: 403 1/2 for the length, thence S. S: E: for the breadth again and so by a S: S: W: line to the place where this land first began; Together with all houses and hereditamts: To have and to hold the land and premisses unto GILES WEBB his heires during the terme of one year, paying therefore the rent of one ear of Indian Corn on Christmas next if lawfully demanded, to the intent that by vertue of these presents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession, the said GILES WEBB may be in the actuall possession of the premisses and thereby enabled to accept a grant of the inheritance to him and his heirs for ever; In Wittness whereof the parties to these presents interchangeably have sett their hands and seals the day and year first above written

      THIS INDENTURE made this 28th day of November Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and fifteen Between JAMES WEBB of the County of the ISLE of WIGHT, Gent,, of one part and GILES WEBB of County of Richmond Gent., of other part; Wittnesseth that JAMES WEBB for the sum of Fifty pounds Sterling paid to him by GILES WEBB had sold unto GILES WEBB his heirs one moiety or half part of a Patent of Land granted to one GILES WEBB, Grandfather of sd: JAMES WEBB lying in Parish of Northfarnham in County of Richmond and containing Six hundred eighty and one acres, wch: said Patent beares date the 18th day of Febry. one thousand six hundred Sixty and seven, And this Indenture further wittnesseth that JAMES WEBB in consideration of the sum of Thirty seven pounds, Ten shilling; in hand paid him doth bargain sell release and make over unto GILES WEBB his heires the said GILES WEBB being in the actual! possession thereof by vertue of a Lease made to him and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession' the other halfe part or moiety of the said Patent together with all right title and interest of the whole Patent, bounded (the description of the bounds of the land are repeated as in the foregoing Lease); To have and to bold the lands and premises unto GILES WEBB his heires to be holden to the Chief Lord or Lords of the Fee or Fees of the premisses by the rents and services for the same due to be paid; and JAMES WEBB for himself his heires shall warrant & for ever defend against any person claiming the same; In Wittnesse whereof the parties to these presents have interchangeably sett their hands and seales the day and year first above written

      THE CONDICON of the above obligation is such that if the above bounden JAMES WEBB his heires do well and truely observe perform and keep all covenants wch: on his or their parts ought to be kept in a pair of Indentures of Lease and Release between JAMES WEBB and GILES WEBB according to the intent and meaning of the same; That then this present obligation to be void and of none effect, else to remain in full force power & venue
