      IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN the seaventeenth day of August Anno Dom 1683 I Thomas George of the County of Rappae. in Virginia Gent. being Sick and weak in body But of Sound mind & memory (praised be God) Doo Therefore make and Declare my last Will and Testamt. in maner and (form following (Vizt) ffirst & principally I Recomend my Soul back into the hands of the Almighty and my body I Comitt unto the earth to be Decently buried at the Discretion of my Deare Wife Trusting and Assuredly believing it Shall partake of that Glorious Resurection purchased by that precious Blood & meritts of Or. Dear Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ And for that worldly Estate God of his goodness hath Blessed me wth. after my debts paid and funerall Charges Discharged I Dispose Thereof as is herein expressed (That is to say)
      I Give and bequeath unto my sd Deare and welbeloved Wife Elizabeth George my white horse called Swan and another pacing horse weh. I exchanged wth. mr Bray for another on Condition that she Deliver unto my Daughter Margarret a horse when she Attaines the age of twelve years Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Leroy George my horse Called Spiff with all the furniture I have belonging to a mans horse Togeather with all my books
      Item I give and bequeath unto my Said Daughter Margarret Twenty Thousand pounds of tobacco & Cask to be paid her by my Executors. hereafter Named Or the Land I purchased and bought of Edward Lewis Scituate in ffarnham parish in the said County near Totaskey Creek to her and her heires forever to be at her Choice and Election when she Attains to the age of twenty one years or Day of Mariage wch. shall first happen
      Item I give and Devise my Plantation Land & housing whereon I now live And ye Plantation In Case my Daughter Shall make Choice of the Twenty thousand pounds of Tob as aforesd which I bought of Edward Lewis unto my Sd Sonn Leroy George and my Said Wife to be held by them During her natural Life and after her Decease to the heires of the body Lawfully to be Begotten of my Sd Sonn and for want of such Issue to my sd Daughter Margaret and the heires of her body Lawfully to be begotten And for want of Such Issue to the heires & assigns of my said Wife Elizabeth for Ever And my True Intent and meaning is that in case my said son dye Leaving yssue of his body before my said wife Then She to have no benefit by Right of Survivorship but that part and portion in the sd Land and premises Decend on Such yssue of my said Sonn as might belong unto him Liveing Item all the Rest & Residue of my said Estate be it Ready mony, Goods, Cattle Servants horses Mares or other Cattles I give and bequeath unto my said Wife and Sonn Equally to be divided between them part and portion alike but my minde and will is that my wife Shall and may Enjoy the male Cattle belonging to my Son & benefitt of the Servants for the better maintenance & bringing up of my said Children until my sd Sonn Attain the age of Seaventeen years Att web. Time I doo hereby appoint That what is hereby given to him be at his own dispose and to be Invested therein as in Case he had Attained the full age of Twenty one yeares And to prvent appraisement That Comonly Viperously Eats out the Sides of Orphants Estates my Request is that my trusty and welbeloved ffreinds mr. Edwin Conway mr. Arthur Spicer and Jno. Taverner take on them the Charitable oversight of this my Will And to be Aiding And Assisting in the Execution thereof unto my Executor°. And that they would Inventory my personall Estate And to the best of their Judgmts. Devid the Same in Specificall goods and Chattles as they Shall then be And to take a particular acct. of what Shall fall to my Sonns part (the Goods & Chattles being Delivered to my wifes Custody again) And the same Acct. being signed Receipt wages to putt upon Record But if my wife remarry Then Such husband to give Security for my Sonns part to be Delivered him as aforesaid
      Item I Give and bequeath unto my sd three ffreinds twenty Shill. apeice to buy them Rings to wear in Remembrance of me and twenty Shillings more to Each of the wifes of the sd mr. Edwin Conway & John Taverner for the same porpose And I Doo hereby Constitute and appoint my said Loving wife and Son Exedra. of this my last Will & Testamt. Provided and Upon this Condition the Bequest and Devise of my Land made unto my Wife Joyning her in Joynt Tenancy with my said Sonn as aforesaid be in Lein and full Satisfaction of her Right of Dower of all and singular

FOWLER of County of Richmond are held and firmly bound unto the Worspll. her Majities Justices of the peace for the said County in the full and iust summa of Two hundred pounds Sterl., to the which payment well and truely to be made we bind our selves our heirs firmly by these presents; Sealed with our seals and dated the first day of Sept. 1714
      THE CONDITION of this obligation is such that if the above bound MARGRETT WHITE Admrx. of all the goods chattells and creditts of JOHN WHITE deced,. do make a true and perfect inventory of all 'the goods chattells and creditts of the said deced., and the same so made do exhibit into the County Court of Richmond att such time as she may be thereunto required by the said Court and the same goods chattells and credits do administer according to Law, And further do make a just and true account of her actings and doings therein when thereunto required by the said Court and do well and truley deliver and pay unto such persons respectively as the sd. Justices by their Order or Judgment pursuant to the Laws in that case made and provided; And if it shall appear that any Last Will and Testament was made by the said deceased. and the Exr. or Exrs therein named do exhibit the same making request to have it allowed and approved, accordingly if the said MARGT.
