      TO ALL XPIAN PEOPLE to whom these p:sents shall come, HUGH FOUCH of LITTLE WICCOCOMICOE in ye County of Northumberld; in Virginia, Planter, for diverse good causes but more especially for ye summe of Three thousand pounds of good tobaccoe & caske have sold unto EDWARD JONES of ye County aforesaid, Planter, One hundred acres of Land in ye said County beginning East upon ye GLEAB joyning upon JOHN BERREMANs Land and sae running halfe a mile West to ye corner tree being an Oake being ye bredth of ye land according to ye Pattent of Eight hundred acres taken up by mee and soe to extend North until' ye said hundred acres be full compleated; To have & to hold ye said Land with all its appurtenances unto ye said EDWARD JONES his heires & assignes by ye yearly rent reserved for ye same to our Soveraigne Lord ye King and I ye said HUGH FOUCH doe warrant ye said Land to be cleare from all manner of p:sons clayming under us; In Wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seale this Thirtith day of January 1668 and in ye 20th yeare of ye Reigne of our Soveraigne Lord King Charles ye Second &c.
