Frances Durrant proved the last will and testament of Thomas Durrant by the oaths of Nathaniell Conduit and Joseph Hanneford and prayed that letters of administration with the will annext might be committed to her, which the Court granted. Joseph Churnell and Robt. King with Frances Durrant did assume in 30,000 pounds of tobacco for Frances Durrant's true performance of the same

For a valuable consideration. 100 acres in Cople Parish, part of a patent granted to William Walker late of this county, deceased, and by the last will and testament of William Walker bequeathed to William Walker his son who sold 100 acres to Samuel Earle and the land was by Seml. Earle sold unto Thomas Duran[t] and by Duran by his last will and testament [1686] bequeathed unto Ball ... bounden on the land of William Bayly being part of the said patent, on the land of Robert Bennet and William Garland and on the head of Blises' Creek
