KNOWE ALL MEN by these pr:sents that I THOMAS BEDELL and SARAH BEDDELL my Wife, doe by these pr:sents sell from us our heires or assignes for a good & valuable consideracon all in hand received, all our Land & Plantacon that wee now liveth upon and formerly bought of JOHN WARD with all rights and priviledges as full forth as is specified in a pattent of any thing that appertaineth to the Plantacon to JOHN SMITH his heires or assignes for ever from us our heires or assignes for ever; And further wee the aforesd: THOMAS & SARAH doe bind our selves our heires to defend the land from any claimes or any trouble whatsoever that shall arise from any p:sons from this time to the end of ye world, and for the true p:formance of this Sale of Land, wee doe bind our selves our heires to acknowledge this in Court the next Court held in the County of Northumberland; Witnes our hands & seales this 28th of December 1663 Teste WILLIAM THOMAS, THOMAS BEDELL his marke JOHN TUCKER SARAH BEDELL her marke 8th March 1663, This Sale of Land was acknowledged in Northumberland County Court by MARTIN COLE, Attorney of the sd.
