      This Indenture made 21 September 1772 Between WILLIAM WATTS and ELIZABETH his Wife of Culpeper County of one part.and HENRY FIELD JUNR. of County aforesaid Witnesseth that William Watts and Elizabeth his Wife for sum of Eighteen pounds current money of Virginia hath granted unto said Henry Field Junr. all that parcel of land said William Watts purchased of JOHN AMBURGER and MARGARET his Wife by Deeds acknowledged in County Court of Culpeper the ( ) day of January MDCCLXXII containing 50 acres bounded Beginning at a white oak and runs South to three pines near the ROAD thence South to the Beginning . . . .

      THIS INDENTURE made the Thirty first day of July 1773 Between WILLIAM WATTS & ELIZABETH his Wife of County of Culpeper of one part and JOHN WHARTON of same County Witnesseth that for sum of Fifteen pounds current money of Virginia by said John Wharton truly paid whereof I do hereby acknowledge and by these presents said William Watts and Elizabeth his Wife have granted unto said John Wharton his heirs forever land in County of Culpeper and Parish of St. Marks being part of a tract of land formerly the property of WILLIAM HACKNEY decd containing Two hundred acres of land bounded Beginning at three white oaks Corner to JOSEPH BLOODWORTHs line thence North to a white oak Corner to JOEL WAITS line thence South to an Ash in said line thence North to the beginning
