      This Indenture made this fifth day of July 1775 Between WILLIAM HUNTER and SARAH his Wife of one part and WILLIAM RICE Witnesseth that the said William Hunter and Sarah his Wife for sum Sixty two pounds and nine pence current money to him paid have granted unto the said William Rice his heirs a tract of land in County of Culpeper containing 188 acres bounded Beginning at two pines near the Gum Spring in CAVEs Patent line thence with the said line North to three pines corner to EDINGs thence with Edings South to the Beginning . ,
