      - We under written have Inventoried & appraised ye Estate of RICHD. GRIMSTED deced:
      Imprs. an old feather bed, bolster, bedstd & old rugg, & blanketts & Matt, a pircell of feathers in an old rotten case, a pair of old torne blankets & an old bedstead; one case with seaven pottle bottles, one good new chest, three old broken chests, five Cow at 450 lbs. tobo: one heifer two two year old heifers, small iron pott with hoods & pott racks, two iron pestles, an old paile, an old brass kettle, an old Cart & pr. of wheeles & a grind stone, too old tables, four flag bottom chairs old, one iron pott & hookes, one small iron kettle, pr. of iron pott racks, two iron spitts, small frying pan & a space & an old driping pann, a hatchet & some other old iron; a pr. of wedges & a faling ax, an old pr. of small stilliards, a pr. of old pistolls, holsters. carbine & sword, an old gun, an old smooting iron & a pr. of wool cards, a pr. of brass candlesticks, a brass skimer & broken brass morter, a parcell of old pewter cont: 24 lbs., an old warming pann, two old pailes, an old saddle and an old butter tubb & earthen butter pott; seven old splitt trenchers, two horses, a cropp of Tobo: five pair of mans shoes, one Negro man (5000);

      KNOW ALL MEN that we KATHARINE GREENSTEAD, JNO: BILLINGTON & WILLIAM HUDSON of the County of Essex are held and firmly bound unto his Maties. Justices of ye peace for ye sd. County in the sume of Forty thousand pounds of Tobo: & caske, to the which payment we bind ourselves our heirs firmly by these presents; Witness our hand & seales this 10th day of September 1698
      The Condicon of ye above is such that if KATHARINE GREENSTEED, Admrx. of RICHD. GREENSTEED. doe make a true & perfect inventory of all ye goods chattles rights & credits of ye sd. deced, and ye same so made do exhibit to the next Court held for the sd. County and make oath thereto; & truely administer on the sd. Estate & give a true accot. of her admcon. when required & pay such persons as ye Court shall appoint, then ye above obligacon to be void, otherwise to remain in power
