      In April last 1698, THOMAS DAVIES & FRANCES his Wife did hear JARRT. EVENS upon his death bed say I give all my Land to my Daughter, & after her decease to JNO: DYER, his Brother, ye sd. Land if she dyed without issue, & that he did give to MARY DYER his Mother, a Cow & Calfe, three hoggs & some of them I give to my Mother, to JAMES MERRIOTT I give as much kersey as will make him a Coat halfe my Corne, halfe my Bacon & four sheates; as for ye rest of my Estate to my Daughter & after her decease to the sd.       Unto my son Saml. Davice the hundred acres of land I purchased of Richd. Stoke. If my son Samll. dyes without heirs lawfully begotten to my sons John and James Davice to be equally divided.
      Unto my son Thomas Davice that hundred acres of land, I first purchased of Humphry Brooke. If my son Thomas should dye without heirs to my son Francis Davice.,
      To my loveing wife, Francis Davice the plantation whereon I now live and after her decease I give it my son Nicholas Davice.
      To my loveing wife my Negro wench Doll and after her decease to my daughter Ann Davice reserving her increase for my three youngest sons Francis, John and James.
      To my son Francis one black hors colt.
      The rest of my estate to be equally divided amongst my wife and all my children.
