Witnesseth that Stephen Souther in consideration of sum Sixty pounds current money of Virginia paid hath granted unto William Rucker Tract of land in the fork of the Stanton and Conway Rivers and bounded Beginning at a white oak on a small Branch corner to WILLIAM KIRTLEY's line to two red oaks in FRANCIS CONWAY's line with the said Conway's line to a Bent of the branch below the fork thence down the several courses to the first mentioned beginning containing 150 acres also another Tract by estimation containing 160 acres Beginning at two red oaks in Francis Conway's line and runing thence to a pine in William Kirtley's line to pine in the said Conway's line the two Tracts being part of a Patent granted to (blank) ..

THIS INDENTURE made the 15 day of November One thousand seven hundred and seventy nine Between JOHN BEADLES and LORENNA his Wife of one part and WILLIAM RUCKER of County of Culpeper of other part Witnesseth that Whereas JOHN BEADLES hath for sum of Seven hundred pounds current money of Virginia to him in han paid have bargained and sold and delivered unto WILLIAM RUCKER one tract or parcel of land lying and being in County of Culpeper and bounded Beginning at two red Oaks and a Pine and Hickory, thence South Nineteen degrees West forty poles to two Pines and a red Oak corner to JONATHAN UNDERWOOD, thence South seven degrees East sixty two poles to three Maples on a Branch, thence South ten degrees West fifty six poles to two Pines, Corner to JONATHAN UNDERWOOD, JOHN HENDERSON and ALLEN RAINS, thence East One hundred and eight poles to a large Pine Hickory and Spanish Oak Corner to JOHN HENDERSON on WILLIAM ALEXANDER's line, thence North Twelve degrees East One hundred Twenty and six poles to two Post Oaks and a Spanish Oak, thence North seventy eight degrees West One hundred and twenty poles to the beginning To have and to hold unto WILLIAM RUCKER his heirs and assigns the said bargained premises and every part thereof In Witness whereof the said parties have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written in the presents of JOHN BEADLES
