Swanson, Stephen, of Wiccomoco Parish

Daughter Mary Swanson-the land whereon I and my father now lives, to her and the lawfully begotten heirs of her body. If my daughter should depart this life without issue of her body, Jesse Swanson, son of my father Stephen Swanson, to have the land.
My mother in law Betty Swanson-shall have her single life in my land.

Son Jessee Swanson-my gun, one cow and her increase, with my best bed and furniture.
Daughter Frankey Shelton Swanson-my other bed and furniture, and two heifers.
Daughter Nancey Lunsford-one shilling sterling.
Rest of my estate to be equally divided between my son Jessee Swanson, and Frankey Shelton Swanson.
Friends Hopkins Harding, William Blackerby, and my son Jesse Swanson, executors.
