Gibbons, Morris, of St. Stephen's Parish
W, W. 22 July 1746---W.P. 8 December 1746
Daughter Jane Harding-twenty shillings.
Daughter Jemima Cooke-twenty shillings.
Daughter Katherine Haynie-twenty pistoles to be paid the tenth day of March next.
Son John Gibbons-all the lands I now have, to him and his heirs. Should he die before he comes of age, to go to my two daughters Elizabeth and Judith Gibbons, to them and their heirs, and for
want of such heirs or in case they die before they come of age, to my daughter Jane Harding
Rest of my estate to be equally divided between my wife Winnefred Gibbons, and my three children John, Elizabeth, and Judith Gibbons, and if my wife should be with child, it is to have an equal part with my wife and three youngest children.
Wife not to be molested of 'the part of the estate given her and my three youngest children come of age or marriage.
Son John Gibbons-may be of age at eighteen.
My children to be educated as my estate can afford it.
Friends William Cooke, and John Basye, executors.
Wife Winnefred Gibbons-to have my rideing horse and saddle to do with as she shall think proper.

Cooke, William, of Great Wiccocomoco Parish
W. W. 17 February 1758---W.P. 12 March 1759
Wife-to have all the land joining on Jesse Robinson, from the mill pond up a great bottom between my dwelling house and free Hannahs, across to the swamp by Edward Garners, during her natural life or widowhood, and at her marriage to have one third.
To son John Cooke-land where free Hannah lives adjoining to the land which I sold Mrs. Lunsford, when he arrives to the age of twenty one to receive out of my estate one cow and calf, one sow and piggs, one ewe and lamb, one feather bed and furniture.
Negro man Adam be kept on my plantation during my wifes widowhood for the support and maintenance of her and maintance and education of my children and keeping up my stock. When my wife marries she to have an equal part of my negro man Adam with the rest of my children.
Rest of estate to be equally divided between wife Eliza, Jemima, William, George and Epaphreditus Cooke.
Three sons William, George and Epaphreditus, be bound out to trades.
Friend Moses Lunsford, guardian to my son John Cooke till he comes of age.
