      Daughters Elizabeth Nelms, Hannah Shapleigh Nelms and the child my wife now goes with-all my estate whatsoever, except
      sixteen pounds I give to William Lancaster to be paid him in the year 1760.

      To wife Elizabeth Nelms-negro slave woman Moll and her three children James, Solomon, and Moll, during her natural life and at her decease to her heirs, also the use of two negroes, James, and Matt, and one half of all my movable estate during her natural life.
      To nephew William Downing-five hundred acres of land in Fauquier County being the lower part of my land from Trap Branch to broad run, and the two negroes James and Matt and the movable estate given my wife at her death.
      To Elizabeth Nelms, Hannah Shapleigh Nelms, and William Nelms, children of my brother William Nelms, rest of my land in Fauquier County.
      If William Downing, Elizabeth Nelms, Hannah Shapleigh Nelms and William Nelms, should die before they attain the lawful age of eighteen years without leaving lawful issue or their body, that the estate I have given them to be equally divided
      among the survivors of them and their heirs.

      W. W. 4 March 1743/4---W. P. 11 June 1744
      To Samuel Moore-four hundred pounds of tobacco, to be paid in the year 1747.
      Executors-to have twenty shillings each Godson.
      Joseph Lancaster-one young horse two years old and bridle and saddle, to be paid him at the age of eighteen years
      Son William Lancaster-all the rest of my estate both real and personal, but if he should die without an heir then my plantation where now live to fall to my godson Jos. Lancaster with four negroes, two feather beds and furniture, eight head of cattle, two pewter dishes, two pewter basons and half a dozen of plates, and one large chest.
      To John Lancaster, son of my cousin Richard Lancaster-the old plantation whereon I did live, three negroes, one feather bed, four head of cattle two dishes, two basons half a dozen plates, and one small chest in case my son William dies without heir.
      Godson William. Downing-one negro boy, and one cow and calf if my son William dies with heir.
      To Cousin Elizabeth Nelms-one negro girl five years of age, If my son dies without heir.
      To Hannah Shapleigh Nelms-one feather bed,and cow and calf if my son dies without heir.
      If my son William dies without heir-all the rest of my estate to be equally divided between my godson Joseph Lancaster,and my cousin John Lancaster.

      To son Samuel Nelms-use of four negroes, Jack, Peter, Simon, and Jane, for his natural lifes then the four negroes to go to my grandchildren Elizabeth Nelms, and Hannah Shapleigh Nelms,
      daughters of my son William Nelms dec'd, an if any of my two gran children should die without issue before my son Samuel, the survivor to have the four negroes.
      To daughter Elizabeth Nelms Jun-r.-four negroes Solomon, Massey, Tignor, and Kendal, one brass warming pan, and one book called the Duty of Man.
      To grandaughter Elizabeth Nelms-one mare named Projeck.
      To grandaughter Elizabeth Nelms daughter of my son William Nelms decd-four negroes, Lefty, , Aggie, Darkey, and Nancey, and their future increase, one feather bed and furniture, and one negro girl named Jane.
      To grandaughter Hannah Shapleigh Nelms, daughter of my son William Nelms dec'd-five negroes Nancy, Ellis, Chloey, Molley,
      and Sue, one feather bed and furniture, and all my land. in Wiccocomico Parish.
      To grandson William Dcwning-negro boy Samuel, and one feather bed and furniture.
      To grandaughter Hannah-one horse dolfin.
      To grandsen Willlam Nelms-when he attains the age of eighteen years-two negroes Mima and Tabb and their increase, and if my grandson should die before the age of eighteen, Mima and Tabb
      and their increase to go to grandaughters Elizabeth Nelms and Hannah Shapleigh Nelms, or the survivor of them.
      To grandson William Nelms-one horse colt.
      To grandson William Lancaster-twenty shillings current money. Rest of estate to grandson William Downing, and grandaughters Elizabeth and Hannah Shapleigh Nelms daughter of my son William Nelms dec'd, to be equally divided between them.
      Estate not to be appraised.
