      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I CHARLES SNEATH of the County of Rappahannock in Virginia have bargained & (sold) unto MAURICE WILLIAMS & ROBERT SISON (missing) said three hundred acres of land in the County of Rappahanock on North side of the River being the lower part of a devident of land formerly granted unto JOHN MERRIMAN & MORGAN HAYNES by Pattent bearing date the second of February 1653 & do warrant the sale of the said land unto the above MAURICE WILLIAMS & ROBERT SISSIN their heirs & assignes for ever from me the above said CHARLES SNEATH & all persons claiming under me to truth whereof witness my hand & seale this second day of January Anna Dom One thousand Six hundred & fifty nine
