This Indenture made 30th May 1770 (of Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third) .. between JAMES POWELL of Orange County in Colony of Virginia and HONOURIAS POWELL of County of Culpeper .. in consideration of sum of 100 pounds current money of Virginia hath granted unto Honourias Powell 200 acres beginning at two red oaks corner to THOMAS SCHOOLER and tuning thence with his line to a white oak on South side of Elk Run down several courses of the River to the Rappidann River to another corner to the said SCHOOLER thence with Schooler's line to the beginning ..
