Indenture made October 1, 1771; Jacob Funck, yeoman of PGCo in consideration of 10 pounds current money of Maryland paid by Nicholas Leybert of Frederick County, Maryland has sold the following lots lying in the Town of Hamburgh;
"Lot Number 97" and "Lot Number 98" having 160 feet front on Market Street and 230 feet back to Arch Street;
To have and to hold subject to a yearly quit rent per lot of one half penny sterling from the 1st day of November next. Signed Jacob Funck in the presence of Benjamin Spyker, Zachariah White and acknowledged before Joshua Beall, Christopher Lowndes and at the same time Ann Funck wife of Jacob Funck released her relinquished her right of dower
