      Page 178 TO ALL CHRISTIAN PEOPLE to whom these presents shall come I THOMAS CHAPMAN of ACQUIA in Stafford County for ye sume of five thousand five hundred pounds of Tobacco & Caste sufficiently secured to be paid to me by THOMAS SHUTE of AKOKEEKE in Stafford County have sold unto him ye said THOMAS SHUTE two hundred acres of lande whereon now I live beinge on OCCQUIA CREEKE & ye Lowermost halfe of foure hundred acres of land bought by me of JOHN FOSSAKER out of his Grand pattent of Sixteene hundred Acres adjoyninge to ye lands of DANLL. MATHEENEYs called HOGGE POINT Beginning at ye said MATTHEENE upper Corner by OCCQUIA CHEM side on ye uppers side of HOGGE POINTE & extending West South West to the back lyne of the Grand Pattent from thence along the said back lyne to a lyne that deivides this Two hundred acres of land from ye part of ye Four hundred acres bought by me of JOHN FOSSAKER & by him conveyed to mee by Deed of Sale executed in Stafford County dated the 30th day of September 1687.
