1. Elizabeth Bayne --sister
-to have a bed and furn.
2. Samuel Hawkins Bayne --nephew
-to have Negro man "Peter" with the condition that he allow his mother Elizabeth Bayne the sole use of the Negro for the term of her natural life --and should he refuse then the bequest is null and void
3. Anne Middleton Marlow --niece
-to have Negro woman "Sarah"
4. Susannah Dorsett --sister
-to have Negro boy "Jack"
-to have the rest and remainder of the estate of whatever kind
-named executor, and should the moneys from the hire of testatrix's Negroes prove insufficient to pay debts, then Samuel Hawkins Bayne, Anne Middleton Marlow and Susannah are to pay a proportionate sum out of the legacies given to them.

-to have I copper kettle and I pair of hand irons, I large table, 2 large dishes, '/2 dozen deep plates, 3 cows and calves and also all of testatrix's sheep, 1 iron spit, I feather bed and furn., 3 silver table spoons, 3 chairs.
2. William Newman Dorsett --son
-to have Negro woman "Charlotte" Negro man "Jones"
-to have 1 feather bed and fum., I chest of drawers, I looking glass, 3 silver table spoons 3 chairs
-named executor along w/ testatrix's son Thomas

-to have Negro woman "Henny" Negro boy "Ned"
-to have I side saddle, I cupboard, I cloak and bonnett, 3 chairs, 2 cows and calves

Indenture made November 19, 1782 and in the sixth year of American Independence; Between Thomas Contee, Esqr., of one part and John Dorsett, Gentleman of the other part. Witnesseth that whereas by deed bearing date September 25, 1779, Thomas Contee and John Dorsett were enfeoffed by Richare Lee each of and undivided moiety of part of a tract called "Lee's Choice" lying in the Town of Nottingham which part was in the tenure of Richard Lee and by him conveyed to Thomas Brooke as will appear by deed recorded in Liber 2, folio 05. And whereas by this deed, John Dorsett was seized and legally possessed of an undivided moiety of the said tract. Know then that Thomas Dorsett in consideration of 600 pounds common current money has has released and quit claimed unto Thomas Contee his moiety part of a tract called "Lee's Choice".
