      At the request of James Williams of CC, the following partition between him and wife, Jno Woodman and wife, Elinor Noe & Mary Newman, of the lands lately in the possession of Geo: Newman deceased, was recorded Sep 16, 1730.
      Mar 6, 1729. Then laid out for and in the name of Jno Woodman and Sarah, his wife, all that part or moiety of the lands lately in the possession of Geo: Newman, bounded by Guys branch, the land of Rando Brandt, laid out for about 75 acres.
      The 2nd moiety of sd land, laid out for Eleanor Noe, bounded by the line of the abovesd Jno Woodman, the river [unnamed], laid out for about 75 acres.
      The 3rd moiety, laid out for James Williams and Eliza, his wife, bounded by the abovesd Eleanor Noe's land, the river [unnamed], laid out for about 75 acres.
      The 4th moiety, laid out for Mary Newman, bounded by the abovesd James Williams' land, the river [unnamed], Cuckolds Cr and Porpuse Point, laid out for about 75 acres.
      Mar 6, 1729. Then resurveyed and equally divided, at the request of James Williams and Elizabeth, his wife, and John Woodman and Sarah, his wife, and Mary Newman and Eleanor Noe, 3 tracts of land lying adjacent, bounded by Guys Branch, one of the bound trees of the land now in the possession of Randolph Brandt, the land of Thomas Mitchel originally called Gibson Cloce, the land called Hungerfords Branch now in the possession of John Newman, sd land originally belonging to Geo Newman, Cuckolds Cr until it comes to Potomack River, containing, by the meanders of the river, about 300 acres.
      We, the subscribers to the within division and partition of the land and premises aforementioned, hereby acknowledge ourselves to be fully satisfied with the division and partition, and bind ourselves in the penal sum of 50 £sterling, to be paid by the persons(s) who will not stand to the division and partition.       At the request of Doctor John Curry, the following deed was recorded on Aug 15, 1748.
      Jul 19, 1746 from William Middleton of CC, to Doctor John Corry of CC, for 100 £sterling and 14,000 lbs tobacco, 126 acres, being part of a tract of land called Partners Purchase, bounded by the head of Guys Branch, Jacob Brandt, Potomack River, containing about 126 acres. There is a reservation of 10 acres at the easternmost corner around the logged house, for the life of Elinor Noe and for her use, provided she behaves herself in a decent and orderly manner. Signed - Wm Middleton. Wit - Geo: Dent, Hell: Middleton. Elizabeth, wife of the above named William Middleton, released her dower.
