      Arrived in America about 1637 in Upper Norfolk County,VA (which later became Nansemond, Virginia.) Moved with wife and 7 children to Maryland in 1658. See Stein's "History of Calvert County, Maryland pages 1 and 2. Granted citizenship by Cecil Calvert (Lord Baltimore) in 1663

      This Robert Brashieur, Sr., died ca1665, is the brother of Benjamin Brasseur, father of Robert Brashier, that died c1712 in Prince George's Co.MD., and was married to Alice Sprigg.
