  charles county gentry-newman Zachariah Dent, son of Zachariah and Elizabeth Dent, was born in or near Centreville, Charles County. It has already been shown that he sued his sister and brother-in-law over the estate of their mother in 1834. Records of Charles County fail to show whom he married, but in 1845 a case in chancery developed which proved that he had a daughter Priscilla M. who married in March 1840 George T. Richards.
