      Samuel Collins, Will, September 10, 1822; February 4, 1823
      I, Samuel Collins of CC, being of memory and disposing mind;
      To wife Mary Ann Collins, all my real and personal property during her single life and at her death or remarriage, my two tracts of land "Thomas Maggot" and "Thomas Adventure" whereon I now reside to be divided between my two sons Henry Collins and William Collins. Son Henry to have the East end beginning in the Beaver Dam line of said tracts, 10ft eastward of a cabin commonly called Old Ralphs Cabin standing by a spring called the Locust Spring, running to the dividing line between the land of Major Henry S. Yates (which property belonged to Major John C. Jones) and son William the remaining part which will include my dwelling house. In the event of son Harry's death without lawful issue, to daughter Jane, and in the event of son William's death without an heir, to daughter Eleanor.
      In the event of of my wife's death or remarriage, I bequeath to my daughters Mary Collins, Jane Collins and Eleanor Collins during their single lives, 6 acres of land beginning at the Gum Spring and running in a straight line through Capt. William Farr's graveyard so as to include a piece of marsh and the old orchard. Also enough timber to build a comfortable house from the lands left to my son Henry.

      I, Susannah Farr of CC, being of perfect sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding;
      Item: my whole estate, real and personal, to be sold and the proceeds put at interest until my daughters; Catharine, Caroline, and my son John arrive to the age of 16 & 21 yrs.

      At the request of Samuel Collins, the following Deed was recorded December 1, 1800
      Indenture made October 30, 1800; between Spencer Anderson and Susanah Anderson his wife of Prince William County, Virginia of one part and Samuel Collins of CC of the other part. Whereas William Farr late of CC died possessed in fee simple of two tracts of land called "Thomas' Maggot" and "Thomas' Adventure" and said tracts decended to his two daughters Catharine Farr and Elizabeth Farr one of whom, Catharine died intestate by which the whole estate was vested in the survivor Elizabeth Farr who intermarried with Samuel Shaw and hath since died leaving no issue. And whereas Susannah Anderson part to this indenture is one of the coheirs and representatives to the said Elizabeth Shaw and as such is entitled to 1/3 part of the said two parcels of land. Now this indenture Witnesseth that Spencer Anderson and Susanah Anderson his wife in consideration of 96 pounds current money of Maryland paid by Samuel Collins has sold the said tracts, "Thomas' Maggot" and "Thomas' Adventure".       At the request of Samuel Collins the following Deed was recorded March 9, 1802
      Indenture March 9, 1802; William Tompkins and Ann Tompkins his wife in consideration of 48 pounds current money of Maryland paid by Samuel Collins has sold one moiety or undivided half part of 1/3 of two tracts of land called "Thomas' Maggot" and "Thomas' Adventure" containing in the whole 96 acres. Signed William Tompkins, Ann Tompkins in the presence of Joseph M. Adams, Daniel Jenifer and acknowledged before Daniel Jenifer.
      March 9, 1802; Ann Tompkins wife of William Tompkins relinquished her right of dower
