I, Thomas Nelson Sr. of CC, being sick but of sound and disposing mind, memory and judgment;
To wife Milly Nelson, the two first choice of two of my horses together with a womans saddle and bridle.
To son John, 50 pounds current money as a legacy and an equal proportion in the balance of my estate with the rest of my children.
Item: Elizabeth Stonestreet Nelson who intermarried with William Violet has received out of my estate, 1 bed and bed clothing, 1 horse and saddle, negro Robert (about 16yrs old). The remainder of my children; William, Ann, Sarah, Ashford, Virlinder, John (having legacy as before mentioned) & Thomas all to have an equal dividend.
