      Feb 26, 1729 from John Fendall of CC, Gent, to Samuel Hanson (son of Robert Hanson) and Mary, his wife, daughter of the sd John Fendall of CC, for the natural love that sd John Fendall has for his sd daughter, and also for 5 shillings to sd John Fendall in hand paid by the afd Samuel and Mary, John
      Fendall has sold to sd Saml Hanson and Mary, his wife, all that tract of land lying on the north side of 'Piscataway River, called Saint Johns, bounded by Geiners Swamp, Lawsons Marsh, the land of John Lawson, the woods, Corners Swamp, containing and laid out for about 800 acres.

      Wit-Robt Hanson*, Benja Fendall*. This deed was acknowledged by John Fendall and Elizabeth, his wife. Elizabeth relinquished her right of dower in and to the within mentioned land and premises.

      In the mother Mary (Fendall) Hanson's will, Oct 22,1758/Jan 31, 1759 Charles Co. she named sons: Samuel, Josias; daughters Benedicta, Mary, Dorothy, Martha; and granddaughter Mary Hanson MacPherson.

      Apparently Elizabeth was not alive at this time, however When Mary's late husband's estate was settled Nov 17, 1753, daughter Elizabeth was mentioned along with the others.

      At the request of Samuel Hanson Jr of CC,, the following deed of gift was recorded this Jul 31, 1733.
      I, John Fendall of CC, Gent, for the natural love I have for my granddaughter, Elizabeth Hanson, daughter of Samuel and Mary Hanson of CC, I have given sd Elizabeth Hanson a Negro girl named Pegg, and her increase. The Negro is to be delivered to Elizabeth at the age of 16 years or day of marriage which shall happen first. The Negro girl is now delivered to the afd Samuel & Mary Hanson.
